Blacklisted: J.J. English Education - Negative Review A very bad experience with J.J. English Education Recruiters

You are advised to be aware of J.J. English Education based in Seoul, South Korea. They recruit English teachers from abroad and place many teachers in Hagwons and private schools throughout Korea. The recruiter promised that they would reimburse me for 50% of the cost of an airplane ticket to encourage me to sign a contract with a private school and they never paid.

For the first few weeks after arriving they were polite and said it would come soon, but after all of my paperwork was signed and official and they received a commission from my employer, I never heard from them again.

They did not return my emails and they did not reimburse for the airfare. Also, be advised that before I accepted this job, the owner of the school, Mr. John J. Lee stated and asked me to teach at his Jeju Island English Village Camp, but after researching the camp, I learned that several teachers were not paid salaries at all after teaching during Summer and Winter camps. Here is the article you need to read.

I’d highly recommend not working with J.J. English Education Recruiters in Seoul.

In particular, beware of the owner, John J. Lee and his assistant Hana!

So you are not confused the exact website of the recruiter you need to beware of is: http://jjee.co.kr

Do not be fooled by the fake testimonials.
