Wonderland Daechi - good

Institute Review
Overall the Daechi branch of Wonderland was a really good one. I didn't love teaching classes there but it wasn't bad either. Their biggest strength was their professionalism. There was a lot of support for the foreign staff and the owner Mr. Won personally took care of many matters (like housing maintenance, trips to immigration etc) by himself. I was paid in full and on time and was enrolled in National Health and pension immediately. My apartment was nice and was really close to work. The administrative staff was really helpful too and helped me make doctors appointments and things like that.

The supported the teachers a lot and stood by them. To be honest I was not a very good teacher for the first 6 months or more of my contract. I lost several students but they stood by me and encouraged me. And I am better now because of it. Also they were organized and managed the school well. They had a plan for what they wanted to do with their events and classes and communicated it. The communication was very good.
The pros
Treated fair and with respect. Friendly environment. They fulfilled all contractual obligations quickly and without hassle. School was managed well. Korean teachers were nice too.
The cons
No real training. Books are way out of date. Most schedules are typical Hogwon teaching style back to back to back classes all day. But if your lucky you might not have a class to look over in which case you are not required to stay at the school which is nice. Total "bro" style working environment because because all of the foreign teachers are male and mostly new to Korea. If that's your thing you could consider that a pro, not judging here.
Advice to Management
Maybe consider updating the curriculum
